Zach thrives on uncovering and elevating the stories of clients’ projects in engaging and inventive ways and is passionate about celebrating the positive social and environmental impacts that good design has on the world. With over eight years of marketing and communication experience, Zach’s focus has been on creating proposals, collateral, and other strategic marketing initiatives within the AEC industry.
Before joining Coen+Partners, Zach worked for Davey Resource Group (DRG) as the inaugural marketing coordinator for the Environmental Consulting service line. He built and managed a small team of graphic designers and layout specialists responsible for a wide range of business development initiatives and deliverable projects. He also served as a communications coordinator for Sasaki, an international planning and design firm, where he was a major contributor to the firm’s thought leadership and newsletter content, audio/video projects, strategic communications planning, and managed a team that completed several award-winning marketing projects.
Zach received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Kent State University. He currently resides in Kent, Ohio, with his wife, daughter, and a cantankerous orange cat named Ulysses.
