David Hedding

Senior Designer

David draws creative inspiration from art and nature.  As a designer of landscapes, he is interested in the human factors of places; how people move through and occupy different spaces, the environmental impacts of different materials, and the deep connections people have with places through meaning and story. He strives to design spaces that balance the needs of people and the ecology of place.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2019 from the University of Minnesota earning the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award from the College of Design.  He went on to earn a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 2021. His previous education includes two years studying Art and Design at Columbia College Chicago after earning an Associate Degree in Music Production and Engineering.

David has an adventurous spirit and loves bicycle touring, camping, and kayaking. His favorite trip is a bicycle tour he made from Seattle to San Francisco down Highway 1 in eighteen days. He also enjoys creating in the kitchen, playing the piano, and all kinds of photography.
