Aiysha was the first Zaha Hadid/Omniyat Fellow at Harvard University Graduate School of Design (F2017-S2019), where she obtained her Master in Landscape Architecture. She is a landscape designer with a background in architecture (B.Arch, Virginia Tech) and practiced in the Gulf and the United States, with projects all over the world. Her additional interests include ecology, ethnobotany, hydrology, climate engineering, fine arts, and activism. Her works demonstrate her curiosity, and she enjoys using all tools at her disposal to help tell the stories of places and people.

As a designer, she has successfully delivered projects at all stages of design and construction and has sustained strong relationships with collaborators and consultants.
