Austin McInerny is an Project Manager at Coen + Partners. He received his Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Coen + Partners, Austin spent five years in Seattle with Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN) on projects such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation campus and a multi-phased, 20-acre estate garden, and had a key role in coordinating and detailing some of GGN’s most technically complex designs.
Austin is interested in digital fabrication and the use of parametric and 3D modelling software to execute precise digital and physical models that are attune to constructability and material efficiency. This precision and attention to detail has been instrumental in the design and construction of complex and unusual water features, including several major reflection pools, water scrims, and sculpted-stone waterfalls.
